If someone were to tell you that a new Beatles album was out and it was made partially for Cirque Du Soleil, you'd probably remember the 1978 Peter Frampton/Bee Gees travesty and scream in horror! This is Brian Wilsons best work. I have had this album on vynil, cassette and finally CD. It is as fresh sounding and relevant today as it was almost 40 years ago.
Although people like Mike Love are trying to take credit for some of his work, this is definitely an all out effort by Brian to surpass the other great albums of the time (Beatles Rubber Soul etc.). He put all his creative energy into this album and when it was finished, he seemed to just run out of steam and was never able to duplicate this body of work. Smile is a great album, but it pales in comparison to this.
It is a matter of personal taste on which album is the best of all time, but in my view this is it.

It's amazing to think that this Classic Album was produced back in 1973, I Was majorly impressed with the release of the Digitally Remastered CD & then the SACD 5 Channel Release was very impressive, But there has never been a Better sounding Version of this Album than This DVD-Audio. I personally believe that DVD-Audio has a cleaner sound than a corresponding SACD release.

AS a Music Guru ( Molly )here in Australia would say "DO Yourself a Favor" and Even If your not a complete Elton Fan like myself GO and buy this release and see what A true CLASSIC Album sounds like now in 2004 in Awesome 5 Channel DVD-Audio sound.

"Peace Sells" is easily Megadeth's best album. There are no friendly songs here that would be suited for radio but why would you expect that anyway. The remastered version of "Peace Sells" is absolutely fantastic. "Wake Up Dead" is a killer track since the majority of the song is composed of blistering solos which set the standard for the rest of the album. The title track features great lyrics by Mustaine and is very raw. Check out the video for this song. "Good Mourning/Black Friday" has the greatest Megadeth intro ever which lasts about 2 minutes. A must have if your into 80's thrash.
