THUMBING THROUGH THE ROLLING STONE THAT WAS IN MY MAILBOX YESTERDAY, I CAME ACROSS THE ISSUE'S MAJOR ARTICLE REGARDING THE GREATEST VOICES IN MUSIC. I DID NOT SEE BURTON CUMMINGS'S NAME THERE. EVEN A HACKNEYED PUBLICATION PAST ITS PRIME MUST HAVE SOMEONE THERE WITH EARS. OH, WELL.
TO THIS DISC RELEASE, SUFFICE TO SAY THAT THE MAN'S VOICE IS BETTER THAN EVER, THE WORDS ARE EXRESSIVE AND CONTEMPLATIVE, AND THE MELODIES PURE AND MOVING. I MUST BUY MORE COPIES AS CHRISTMAS GIFTS AS I DON'T SEE A U.S. RELEASE FOR THIS GEM OF MODERN MUSIC. THANKS, BURTON, FOR MAKING IT STILL WORTHWHILE TO OWN AND USE SOUND EQUIPMENT!!!

My wife and I were fortunate enough to see Michael in a St. Louis
concert, met him back stage, told us he had just recorded this album
back in November of 2003 and was very proud of the result.
Might add this young man made a very positive impression on all who
attended that night's show --- he's a first class guy and has everything
going for him --- couldn't happen to a nicer person.

Pop vocalist of the millennium is Michael Buble, with shades of
Connick, Darin, Sinatra and Torme, all rolled into one nice neat

If you ever have the chance to go to a Celine Dion concert, I would recommend that you spend the money and take advantage of the opportunity. We went to a Celine Dion concert last night, and I can tell you that she is amazing. I can understand that Celine Dion is not popular amongst all Canadians; but if you can put aside your opinions abour what she values and how she chooses to live her life, then you can see what quality made her rich and famous: which is the ability of her to express herself musically. This latest disc that Celine Dion has put out reflects and exposes her amazing talents, and takes listeners on a musical journey throughout her career life. This disc is an entertaining romp with the Barenaked Ladies. My 11 month old listens quite intently and especially likes 789. My husband and I also find ourselves singing along. I would like to commend the group for their quality lyrics, music and Canadian Pride!

this cd's on a lot at work, and i have to say that it isn't that bad to listen to. if left to my own devices, i would probably only listen to one or two songs of my own volition, but the cd in itself has a nice easy flow to it. some songs can be rather melancholy if you're in the appropriate mood, but on the whole i'd say it's a light-hearted, easy-going album. at the very least worth a listening to, even in passing.

Singable Songs for the Very Young was originally released in 1976. I was born two years after that, and this album (cassette tape actually) was a staple in my family. I can remember my younger sisters and I belting out "Must be Santa" or "Mr Sun." in the back of the car on long trips.

We also had the record for "Corner Grocery Store" and I can clearly remember dancing around the living room and singing along with my sisters to the silly songs on that album.

Wanting to share these songs with my own children, I got Singable Songs for my two year old son. As it turns out, he loves the songs too and we have a lot of fun together singing and dancing. His favourite song is "Bumping Up and Down in my Little Red Wagon."
