My wife and I were fortunate enough to see Michael in a St. Louis
concert, met him back stage, told us he had just recorded this album
back in November of 2003 and was very proud of the result.
Might add this young man made a very positive impression on all who
attended that night's show --- he's a first class guy and has everything
going for him --- couldn't happen to a nicer person.
Pop vocalist of the millennium is Michael Buble, with shades of
Connick, Darin, Sinatra and Torme, all rolled into one nice neat
package (and that's the plain truth). Just in time for the holidays
Buble has re-released "Let It Snow!", featuring an unforgettable youthful
style that takes ... Read More:

I absolutely love this CD and agree with all the above reviewers that it is a great CD. Easy to listen to and fun to sing to.
The only thing I disagree with is that this is for baby-boomers. I am 33 and discovered ABBA when I was in my teens, this CD really brings me back. My daughter is 14 and she saw the movie and fell in love with the songs too.

Michael Buble has delivered two major hits in the #1 Adult Contemporary single, Everything and has followed up with an equally impressive hit in the song, Lost. This album is amazing. Michael Buble delivers with this album.
Nineteen of ABBA's best songs are plenty, but you won't tire of them. It is amazing that four Swedes (Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus as writers and Anni-Frid Lyngstad and Agnetha Fältskog as the main singers) could take such simple English cliches and turn them into pop music magic. Despite sometimes maddeningly simple lyrics, the song arrangements were unnervingly catchy and the multi-level layered compostions are fascinating. The keyboards and synthesizers were used in some of the more ingenious ways during the seventies to produce that unmistakeable ABBA sound. The energy and nearly anthemic enthusiasm eminating from each song marked them all as instant classics, no matter how jaded or synical the listener. It is doubtlful if you read the song list here ... Once again, Harry Connick manages to put a fresh stamp on the traditional - anyone can perform a holiday classic that sounds the same over and over no matter what album you buy, but trust Harry to jazz up beloved old faves with amazing warmth and zing AND create some wonderful new ones of his own. Really heart-warming to hear him perform with his young daughter as well. "Santarrific" is soulful and hearty, the music throughout is festive and inspires more than just a toe to tap! As with "Harry for the Holidays" and "When My Heart Finds Christmas", you might just find that this CD is another favourite as essential to Christmas celebration as shortbread and mistletoe! Thanks, Harry, your music will always be a part of our Christmas traditions!
Release Date July 27, 2004
I will be honest I wanted Hallelujah off of this album. It is fantastic! However this album is also a great choice for anyone who loves Leonard Cohen's songs. K. D.Lang's voice is of course, phenomenal!

Contrary to reviews I've read on Amazon.com that have stated these are alternate takes, that depends on one's point of view. If you grew up listening to the original album, you might consider these to be alternate takes, and therefore you have the original white cover "A Charlie Brown Christmas CD" to fall back on. On the other hand, those of us who grew up with the original animated Peanuts TV Christmas special and have watched it 30 times over+ know that the versions in the special itself differ from what appeared on that original album and the subsequent white covered CD(that claimed to be original TV soundtrack). This, my friends is the finally the real deal, From "Linus & Lucy", Skating" down to "Hark, The Herold Angels Sing". There are a couple of tracks that I might ... Read More:

Diana Krall has come up with a perfect Christmas album. The selection of material is flawless and loaded with classics - which, let's face it, is a key element in a Christmas record. Most of the songs on the album were recorded with a big band, which brings out the best in Krall; the result is slick, flawless and will perfectly suit your holiday season. When she turns down the tempo for piano-and-vocals ballads, it's intimate enough to make you feel as though she's sitting in the room with you. The highlights are "Jingle bells", "Winter wonderland", "What are you doing New Year's eve", "Christmas time is here", "Have yourself a merry little Christmas" and "I'll be home for Christmas"; however, every track is a keeper. It's all a grown-up affair, of course, and it's hardly a trendy record; ... Read More:
