Yes, it's Celine Dion.

I know that people have their negative opinions of Celine, and I have some to as I am only a moderate fan. However, I must say that this album is thoroughly enjoyable. Christmas albums are often dismissed as just a safe piece of product to earn some cash. While this album is pretty safe (like most of Celine's releases), it's supposed to be for enjoyment around the holidays and Christmas albums are supposed to be light. Her voice and her style of music work well for the seasonal genre. Standout tracks include:

"Don't Save It All For Christmas Day" - an original Christmas ballad about showing love all year round, and not just on Christmas.

I've listened to my wife's copy, and after listening to this pile of whatever you want to call it, all I can say is ugh! First of all, it pretty much sounds like any other Celine Dion CD, and even they all pretty much sound like each other. And "Taking Chances"? Talk about playing it safe! Her version of "Alone" sounds like she swiped the backing track and sang karaoke to it! Why bother doing a cover tune when it sounds so much like the original? Maybe it's just me, but I don't get it. The backing music on this CD, as on the rest of her CDs, is so generic that it could've been made by anyone - it has absolutely no personality. Her music has no identifiable sound whatsoever! Pour les fans qui se respecte,ce CD est à avoir obigatoirement dans sa collection.
Malgré son jeune âge,on percoit dans cette album toute la puissance et le talent de cette petite quebecoise qui quelques années plus tard, sera connue dans le monde entier.
"D'amour ou d'amitié", la chanson qui l'a fait connaitre au pubic français, ou bien "Tellement j'ai d'amour pour toi" destiné à sa maman sont de vrais petits bijoux!
